We decided, after years away from the show circuit due to covid etc…., to attend the Tinahely Show in County Wicklow.
Members and breeders manned the marque from 9a.m. We had a great array of photos on display of breeders stock, themselves and their family members. It was great to see it all come together. A lot of work was thanks to Linda, our P.R.O. who had attained the display material and got it all laminated. Thanks also to Alan who put his shoulder to the wheel, as always, to help put the stand together and do the physical work. I’d better not forget to mention his two helpers, his two grandsons, thanks boys. A big pat of the back to everyone who gave up their time to fill the rota we appreciate it.

Thanks to all who called in to say hello.
The general consensus from the day was that without stock on display to show the full potential of the breed and their merits, they are a waste of time.

So next year 2024, we need breeders to start training their calves and be show ready by summer. We have excellent stock that we should be proud to put out there.
