“The Joys of Spring” Photo/Video Competition – Terms & Conditions 

The promoter of this competition is the Montbeliarde Society. All correspondence relating to the competition should be directed to the Society via the official contact channels listed below. 

 

 

The competition is open to residents of the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland who submit photographs/videos of Montbeliarde cattle in line with the competition theme, “The Joys of Spring”. Entries are limited to one picture and/or one video per person. 

 

 

Photographs and videos (maximum 15 seconds) may be submitted using any of the following methods:

• Facebook Messenger 

• WhatsApp to 086 6050870 

 

By submitting an entry, participants confirm that they have read and accepted these Terms & Conditions. 

 

 

All submitted photographs and videos must relate to the theme “The Joys of Spring” and feature Montbeliarde cattle (including cows, calves, or yearlings, purebred or crossbred). 

 

 

The closing date for entries is the 31st of March. Entries received after this date will not be considered. 

 

 

By entering the competition, participants grant the Montbeliarde Society permission to publish submitted photographs and videos on: 

 

• The Society website (www.montbeliarde.ie) 

• The Society Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/montbeliardesociety) 

• Other Society promotional material related to this competition 

 

No additional compensation will be payable for such use. 

 

 

The winners will be drawn by the Officers of the Montbeliarde Society. No correspondence will be entered into. 

 

 

The winning picture will win a place on the Montbeliarde Society trip to France 2026. The prize includes flights, accommodation and meals, kindly sponsored by Bó Sires and Coopex Montbeliarde. The trip will include farm visits, and the lucky winner will get to see Montbeliarde progeny in their native environment. The winner must be free to travel in Autumn 2026! 

 

The winning video will win a voucher for €400 worth of Montbeliarde AI straws, with thanks to Dovea Genetics. What a great opportunity to get top quality Montbeliarde genetics in your herd, for free! 

 

The prize can be exchanged for one item of merchandise from the Montbeliarde Shop (https://www.montbeliarde.ie/merchandise/), but is non transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. 

 

 

The winner will be drawn and announced in the 1st week of April via the Society’s official communication channels. 

 

 

Entrants confirm that all submitted photographs and videos are their own original work and that they have full rights to submit the images. The Montbeliarde Society accepts no responsibility for any infringement of third party rights. 

 

 

The Montbeliarde Society reserves the right to amend, suspend, or cancel the competition if circumstances arise outside of its control. Participation in the competition constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
